We are so excited to not only be back at WILD, but we are also excited to be back at the Stafford Lake! A few of us tried our hands at fishing while a couple of us cooled off in the water!! Unfortunately the only we caught while fishing was a fun time and a few fishing tips!!

WILD students wrapped up their last day the best way possible — sunshine, swimming, laughter, and memories made together! 🌊☀️

From casting fishing lines to jumping off the dock and cheering each other on, these students have spent precious hours outdoors learning, growing, and building confidence through adventure. Watching them unplug, connect with nature, and simply enjoy being kids has been one of the best parts of this year.

Here’s to one final splash for the season and a summer full of adventure ahead! 🛶🐟💚

Reel in the fun!
Our WILD crew traded screens for streams—kayaks, fishing poles, and a whole lot of laughter. Nothing beats a day on the water learning, exploring, and making memories that shore will last!

Earth Day was the perfect day to have a WILD day at the Stafford Lake. We planned on picking up trash, but because the Stafford Lake is so well taken care of, we got to swim, fish, and love our surroundings and friends. As always, we want to thank the Stafford Lake, WILD and the After School program.

Today we started out going on a nature walk around Stafford, but since we are surrounded by an amazing group of WILD students, they saw a need to pick up trash!

Next week, we are so excited to start our trips to the Stafford Lake! We will celebrate Earth Day by helping pick up trash and debris at the lake, since they allow us to use their beautiful property! We will also celebrate the Earth by having a healthy treat of carrots and celery!

If your child is is attending please make sure they have a towel and dry clothes, and a swimsuit because after giving back to the earth that gives us so much, we will cool off in the water!

They spent their time giving back—picking up trash, taking care of our community, and showing what responsibility really looks like. And because hard work deserves a little fun… they earned some time to play at the park after!

Proud of these kids for learning that making a difference can be both meaningful and rewarding.

Today was a perfect day to be at the Stafford Lake! We went out there to watch the birds and learn, which we did, but the water was to tempting not to stick our feet in!! We are so happy to have our 5th grade STARS students join us!! As always, a huge shoutout to the parents who allow us to be WILD with your student and to those behind the scenes that make this program work!
