Seward's Barber Academy, LLC. Seward's Barber Academy, LLC is your one-stop barber school and barber shop. Haircuts for Active Duty Military are $10. Haircuts from barber students are $10.

Drop in today! Seward’s Barber Academy’s program is 1500 hours of theory and practical instruction. Full-time students complete the program in 10 – 12 months. Part-time students complete the program 13 – 18 months. Our focus is on old school barbering techniques infused with today’s styles

We are committed to our students, clients and the community. Students learn all aspects of the barbering industry, such as Virginia Barber LawsHair Cutting and Styling, Hair Structure and Chemistry, and Barber Shop Management

Tuition: The program tuition is $6,500.00, which includes the administrative fee, instruction, textbooks, student barber jacket, professional tools, and VA state examination fee paid at completion of course. The 300-Hour Refresher Course for licensed cosmetologists is $1,095.00. Please call for more information

Financial Aid: Seward’s Barber Academy does not offer financial aid; however, we do offer convenient, interest-free payment plans:

Congratulations to graduate Vanesa Blanco Martinez on completing 1100 hours of barber training at Seward's Barber Academy. Vanesa is scheduled and will be taking the Virginia State Barber Exams next month.

On Saturday August 9th, 2025, Seward's Barber Academy had it's annual Back to School Haircuts for free to children in grades K - 12. We had an amazing turnout. I'm so proud of my students, Danny XOL Chub, Derry Barcenas, Vanesa Blanco, Elijah Wiggins, Cecilia Ayala and Jeremiah Ayala. They did a great job giving haircuts to clients. Thank you all for supporting Seward's Barber Academy and we look forwards to seeing you next year.

The student's learned about using the straight razor today. Professional traditional shaving is always done with a straight razor, so if your barber takes out a disposable Bic, don't walk, run! 😆
