Before they could even walk, these two were already side by side, exploring the world together. Now, they’re climbing, running, laughing, and making new memories together!

As our Administrative Assistant and valued bus driver, one year of Mr. Nate means one year of morning and afternoon smiles, safe bus rides, helping hands, and being our go-to guy when something needs a little fixing (yes, even when the fuse box decides to act up! 😉). We can always count on him to help make things happen! 🔧

How Do I Feel?

This week at The Goddard School, our little learners explored big feelings! 😊😢😡🥰

Through stories, songs, play, and hands-on activities, they learned to identify emotions, express how they feel, and understand that every feeling is okay. They also practiced ways to manage those big feelings and show kindness and empathy toward others.

Because learning about feelings helps little hearts grow just as much as little minds! 🌱

Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
