SLFD Training will be hosting an NFPA 1001 Firefighter I & II with Hazmat Operations
certification course beginning Tuesday, August 4, at 6:00 PM.
This is a comprehensive, hands-on training program designed to prepare firefighters to meet the NFPA
1001 standard. Students will receive extensive classroom instruction combined with practical skills training
throughout the course.

Time: 6:00 PM
Training Nights: Tuesday evenings
Weekend Training: A handful of Saturdays will be scheduled to complete practical skills and live-fire
requirements.
A complete class schedule is available upon request.
If you are planning to send any firefighters, please let me know as soon as possible so I can order the
required student textbooks and training materials.
