As our middle school students prepare for their retreat, we ask our school community to keep them in your prayers.
Please pray in a special way for each student, that this time away from the busyness of everyday life will draw them closer to Christ, deepen their friendships, and help them grow in wisdom and virtue.
We are grateful for the opportunity to accompany our students in both their academic and spiritual formation. Please join us in praying for a fruitful and grace-filled retreat as we begin the 2027-27 school year!

Save the date for our Open House & Speaker Series on Thursday, October 2nd, here at the St. Austin School!
Our evening begins with an Open House at 5:30 p.m., where prospective families can tour our classrooms, meet our faculty, and discover what makes a Catholic classical education so unique.
Afterward, stay for food and fellowship before our 7:00 p.m. Speaker Series featuring Dr. Johann D'Souza, who will present his talk: "Save Your Child From Digital Destruction." Dr. D'Souza's approach has been formulated from years of studying the effects of tech on children, and we are so grateful to welcome his valuable perspective at St. Austin.
If you're exploring schools for your family or simply interested in this important conversation, we'd love to welcome you.
Mark your calendar and invite a friend. We hope to see you there!

One of our favorite traditions is gathering as a school community before the first day of classes to celebrate Mass, reconnect with familiar faces, and welcome new families to the St. Austin School!
Join us for our Back to School Mass & Social on Sunday, August 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Whether you've been part of our community for years or this is your very first St. Austin event, we hope you'll come celebrate with us.
It's a wonderful opportunity to pray together, enjoy fellowship, and begin the school year rooted in faith.

Happy Feast of Saints Joachim and Anne, the grandparents of Jesus!
Today we give thanks for the gift of grandparents and the quiet, steady love they offer in the lives of children and families. Their witness of faith, wisdom, and generational love is a powerful reminder of how God works through family to pass on the faith.
St. Austin families, Grandparents & Special Friends Day will be held on Friday, October 23rd, so be sure to mark your calendars!
May Sts. Joachim and Anne intercede for all grandparents and help us to cherish the gift of family and faith handed down through the generations.

We’re still thinking about Catholic Heritage Camp, and the joy, wonder, and reverence that filled those days on campus.
At this year’s camp, students explored the Miracles of the Eucharist and reflected on the powerful words of St. Carlo Acutis:
“The more Eucharist we receive, the more we will become like Jesus, so that on earth we will have a foretaste of heaven.”
We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with families in forming young hearts to recognize the presence of God in the world and in the sacraments.

Learning is a lifelong pursuit, and this summer, that spirit has been beautifully on display in Mr. Capps' Hebrew class.
Bringing together St. Austin students, parents, and even a grandparent, the class has offered a unique opportunity to explore one of the world's oldest languages while deepening participants' understanding of Sacred Scripture.
Mr. Capps has done an incredible job bringing Hebrew to life, making each lesson both engaging and enriching. As parent Rebecca McBride shared, one of the most meaningful parts of the experience has been reading passages of Scripture in their original language, offering a new appreciation for God's Word.
At The St. Austin School, we believe education extends beyond the classroom, cultivating a love of truth and learning that spans generations.

Our Summer Library has been a wonderful way for students and families to stay connected through great books, meaningful conversations, and a shared love of learning.
Our wonderful librarian, Mrs. DeCoster, says that participation in Summer Poetry Dare and Book Report/Review has been outstanding this summer, with some students completing 1+ every week!
We're so grateful for everyone who has made this summer such a joyful season of reading, and we can't wait to welcome everyone back for another year of discovery.
