STL Sitter was born out of a desire to ensure that parents in the St. Louis area can find the best sitter for their family needs. Our involvement in the community has allowed us to assemble a network of highly qualified sitters. We are devoted to making the childcare process a tiny bit easier. We review applications, interview candidates, and ensure that each and every one of our sitters have the experience and disposition needed to make a great caregiver. Each sitter has a clean background check, a good driving record, auto insurance, and is CPR certified. We provide casual babysitting, before and after school care, consistent care, pet sitting services, and more! We are the go-to childcare resource for St.Louis families.

we hear from parents all the time, how disruptive it can be when a babysitter cancels at the last minute.

It’s not just an inconvenience. It can mean missed meetings, canceled plans, rearranged work schedules, scrambling for backup, and an entire family’s day getting turned upside down.

That’s exactly why we have a process in place for our sitters to follow when they need to cancel, along with management oversight to help step in, communicate quickly, and work toward a solution.

We can’t prevent every illness or emergency, but we can make sure families aren’t left to figure it out alone. 💙

Instead of a traditional App Store app, we use a mobile web app.

That means we can continuously improve the platform, introduce new features, fix bugs, and make updates without asking you to download a new version every few weeks.

When we make the platform better, you’ll see those improvements the next time you log in.
