Every unforgettable performance begins long before the curtains rise.

This album captures the complete journey of our Kala Siri – Cultural Wing of St. Louis Kannada School as we prepared and presented Veeragase during the “Nava Kundatmaka Shatha Chandi Sahitha Shatha Rudra Yagam” Mahotsava at the Hindu Temple of St. Louis.

From tying the Peta, applying the traditional Veeragase makeup, adorning Alta, sharing smiles and teamwork backstage, to the powerful moments on stage—each photograph reflects the devotion, discipline, and pride of preserving Karnataka’s rich folk heritage.

A heartfelt thank you to every performer, volunteer, parent, and supporter who made this memorable journey possible.

Not every performance begins on stage. It begins backstage—with sacred traditions, meticulous preparation, and unwavering dedication.

From tying the majestic Peta, applying the fierce Veeragase makeup, adorning Alta on the palms, to every final touch, each moment transforms ordinary individuals into powerful storytellers of Karnataka’s rich heritage.
