Exploring what’s next for our Spartans! 🎓

We welcomed representatives from Jesuit colleges and universities across the country to campus for our annual Jesuit Excellence Tour (JET)! Students had the opportunity to connect with college representatives, ask questions, and learn more about finding the right fit for their next chapter.

A big thank you to our College Counseling Office for organizing the event and to all the colleges and universities that joined us in Spartan Country!

A beloved De Smet Jesuit tradition 🫶

We were grateful to welcome our grandparents to campus for our annual Grandparents’ Mass, a special opportunity for students to share part of their Spartan experience with those who have helped shape them.

In his homily, Fr. Ronny reflected on the love grandparents have for their grandchildren and how that love mirrors God’s love for each of us: constant, generous, and unconditional.

Thank you to the grandparents who joined us for such a meaningful evening together in Spartan Country!

Join us this Thursday, October 8, for our Dallas/Fort Worth Alumni Reception at The Mayfair at Turtle Creek.

Network with fellow Spartans, hear updates on the school from Fr. Ronny O’Dwyer, S.J., and spend the evening celebrating the brotherhood that continues well beyond De Smet Jesuit.

We hope to see you there‼️

There’s nothing like welcoming our Spartans back home!

On Friday, we welcomed alumni and their families back to Spartan Country for our Alumni Homecoming Tailgate and celebrated the anniversaries of several state championship teams:

⛳ 1986 Golf
🥍 1996 Lacrosse
🥍 2001 Lacrosse
🏈 2005 Football
🏆 2006 Racquetball
🏉 2011 Rugby

Members of our 2005 state championship football team also served as honorary captains for Friday night’s game against Vianney, with ’05 head coach Pat Mahoney joining the captains at midfield for the coin toss.

It was great to see so many familiar faces back on campus and generations of Spartans together again. Once a Spartan, always a Spartan.
