Our month long Read-a-Thon is over halfway done! Be sure to invite those sponsors and read those books! The class with the highest participation gets a popcorn & popsicle party!
Berea Academy’s BIGGEST fundraiser of the year has officially BEGUN! We are so excited that February is the month of ❤️LOVE… of reading!❤️ and we invite all of our students to take part! Here are the details:
Participants will read as many pages/minutes as they can between 2/1-2/28 and seek sponsorship from family, friends and supporters to help raise funds for a Berea classroom tech fund (Chromebooks and more) as well as printing supplies!
All pledge sponsor sheets and donations should be submitted back to the school no later than March 3, 4 or 5!
If your student did not receive a Read-A-Thon packet last week, we will email a copy tomorrow. 🤩 Happy reading!
PS - The class with the highest percentage of participants will win a Popcorn & Popsicle Party! 🍿

🌍 Our Cultural Anthropology students had an amazing morning learning from Ellen Lauer, Global Missions Director at FBC Arnold! She shared how understanding cultures strengthens mission work in the countries her teams visit: Senegal, Liberia, India, Thailand, the Czech Republic, and Brazil. ✈️📚
