The Freckle Challenge will begin October 5 and run through April 5! Like last year, students will have opportunities to earn prizes each month based on the highest average grade-level growth and accuracy.

Please encourage your scholars to participate regularly in Freckle Adaptive Math and make it part of their math practice routine.

Two students at each school will be recognized each month:

Highest Average Grade-Level Growth – The student with the highest average grade-level growth in Freckle Adaptive Math

Highest Accuracy – The student who demonstrates the highest accuracy in Freckle Adaptive Math

Thank you for your continued support and for helping make the Freckle Challenge a success!

October is National Bullying Prevention Month

Bullying can happen at school, online, at work or in the community, and its effects can last long after the moment passes. This month, everyone can take steps to help.

Ways to make a difference:

* Speak up when you see unkind behavior.
* Check in with someone who seems left out or withdrawn.
* Listen without judgment when someone opens up.
* Think before you post, comment or share.
* Teach children that kindness is a strength.

Small actions can make a big difference. Sometimes one person stepping in is all it takes for someone to feel less alone.

Anyone who is being bullied, or who knows someone who is, should reach out to a trusted adult, friend or counselor. No one has to face bullying alone, and everyone deserves to feel safe and respected.
