Are you ready to with us this Saturday? Load up your cars and follow our logistic guidelines for an easy drop-off.

Entrance: The line will start at Olive St. and N 20th St. and cars will line up down Olive St., wrapping around the stadium. Please follow the directions of our staff and volunteers who will be directing traffic.

Traffic Flow: Please have your items easily accessible so unloading can run smoothly. Drive slowly and with caution as volunteers will be moving around vehicles at the drop off points.

Exit: Follow the signs and Exit onto either Chestnut or Market.

Our volunteers will be there to guide you every step of the way and keep the line moving smoothly. Volunteers can assist with unloading items from your car, but please ensure items are easy to access. View the map below for a full parking layout.

Bike parking will be available. Please bring your own bike lock. Public transit options: Use Metro’s “Plan Your Trip” feature to find the most accessible route.Walk-ups are welcome! Please join the line at the entrance and move parallel to the line of cars.

Board member Jill Magruder loves her rain barrel! Not only is it a way to reduce storm water runoff and conserve water, but it translates to lower utility bills as a free water source for her veggie garden and container plants. When installed correctly (under a downspout), rain barrels fill up quickly while providing enough water for weeks!

We’re excited to see you Dump the Dumpster this weekend! While we are accepting a variety of items, we do have a list of items we CANNOT accept. Please give this a look and make sure you don’t have any of these unacceptable items in your recycling pile!

We’re so excited to team up again with Passback at our upcoming Dump the Dumpster Day! ♻️⚽

They’ll be helping you keep your unwanted sports items out of the landfill and *pass* them to new hands that will love them. 🥁 Passback is a nonprofit that’s changing the game in St. Louis, with the mission to create a circular economy for sports gear & textiles, so every kid can play. They sell items for a fraction of the price to make fun affordable for all and work with partners like St. Louis CITY SC and local schools to expand their impact.

Thank you so much to the volunteers who joined us last week at Growing Food Growing People STL’s Environmental Justice Day of Action! We hope you’ll join us again for our next event on July 31 at O'Fallon Park for a Watering Day with Forest ReLeaf of Missouri and Missouri Sierra Club!

We'll be helping to water 120 trees at O'Fallon planting park with a hose, pump, bucket, and wagon system! With water pumped from O'Fallon lake and the park's perimeter fire hydrants, you'll help ensure that newly planted trees receive the 5-10 gallons needed to survive our city's harsh summer temperatures. Water, snacks, and stretch breaks are built into the workday, but many hands will help to make sure we're setting trees up for success.

Welcome to Day 14 of Plastic Free July.

Surprising fact: most disposable wipes used for cleaning, makeup and baby wipes are made from plastic (even the ones that can feel like cotton). They are sometimes littered, clog wastewater systems if flushed but mostly are destined for landfill.

Reusable cloths are a sustainable alternative, allowing people to wash and reuse them time and time again. Here’s how
🧵 Making your own: cutting up old t-shirts, towels, or flannel sheets into squares. Free, and a great way to reuse fabric.
🛒 Or buying them: look for reusable wipes, cotton rounds for makeup/skincare, or muslin cloths (great for babies).
💧 Cleaning: dampen with water (+ a splash of vinegar for cleaning, or gentle soap for skin/baby wipes), wipe, then toss in the wash.

One set can replace thousands of disposables over its lifetime.

Small swap, big difference. 🌍
