Recycling On the Go
earthday365’s Recycling On the Go is the region’s first wide-scale event-greening program. It also organizes our Environmental Justice Days of Action in partnership with local communities. Louis restaurants to reduce their environmental impact. By considering all areas of operations, the GDA puts strong emphasis on reducing, recycling and composting restaurant waste as well as sourcing sustainable food, to-go ware and cleaning supplies. The St. Louis Earth Day Festival is the oldest and largest Earth Day Festival in the Midwest. Attracting 50,000 attendees on average annually, the Festival is a premier destination for the public to learn about a wide-range of environmental issues in an engaging and entertaining setting.

Exciting news! The City of St. Louis and the City Youth Council (C*C) are now accepting applications for the Youth Climate Action Fund (YCAF), a program that will award microgrants of $1,000–$5,000 to support climate action projects led by young people across the city.

Funded by Bloomberg Philanthropies, the Youth Climate Action Fund is designed to empower young people to design and lead projects that address local climate and sustainability challenges. Projects just need to be led by at least two young people ages 15–24, and applications are open through September 30.
