Thank you so much for your support during Give STL Day! Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we not only reached our $2,000 goal but surpassed our $2,500 stretch goal, raising an incredible $3,075.

These funds will go directly toward moving expenses as we transition from our Tower Grove South office of 12 years following a 26% rent increase over the past 15 months. Your support is making a meaningful difference during this challenging time, and we are deeply grateful to our St. Louis community for helping us take this next step forward.

Our team needs your help hand-sorting recyclables at this month's Twilight Thursdays outside Missouri History Museum!

Volunteer with our Recycling On the Go program and keep event waste out of the landfill. We'll provide guidance on what can be recycled, and by the end you'll become a recycling expert!

Gloves will be provided, but please make sure to wear protective closed-toe shoes.

♻️ A NEW RECORD REACHED!

This year, we are proud to share that we were able to divert 97% of all event waste at the St. Louis Earth Day Festival from the landfill: our highest diversion rate yet!

10,700 pounds were composted, 925 pounds were recycled, and 150 pounds of leftover food were donated.

This is thanks to our amazing waste sorting station volunteers who made sure every item was disposed of properly (most of the time, in our composting bins 😁) — and 200 vendors who complied with our plastic-free standards so there was significantly less waste to begin with.

THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this possible. We are always striving to make our event more sustainable each year, and this milestone shows what’s possible when a community comes together with the planet in mind. 🌎💚

Wow, we've already hit our first Give STL Day donation goal! Thank you so much to everyone who pitched in to help us with our upcoming moving costs. We now have a stretched goal of $2,500!

After 12 years in our Tower Grove South office, earthday365 is moving due to a 26% rent increase in just 15 months. This unexpected transition comes with major costs, and we’re asking for your support this Give STL Day.

Even during this transition, our work continues across the St. Louis region. In the past year, we:

🌎 Certified 17 new Green Dining Alliance restaurants in St. Louis

♻️ Provided $8,255 in composting subsidies to restaurants

🧹 Removed 56,090 pounds of trash from St. Louis streets through Environmental Justice Days of Action

🎉 Welcomed 20,000+ attendees to the St. Louis Earth Day Festival

And in 2025 alone, we diverted more than 13.7 million pounds from the landfill through composting and recycling efforts.
