TODAY adjunct faculty at St. Louis Community College begin bargaining for a strong new contract that will reflect their worth as they continue teaching and providing high quality education to students across the St. Louis region.

On Saturday they came together to build power and discuss their plan to win!

SEIU, standing with AFT, CWA, and UAW, filed a “friend of the court” brief in the Harvard and MIT lawsuit challenging ICE’s decision to rescind temporary accommodations for nonimmigrant students taking online classes due to the pandemic for the fall 2020 semester. Between the lawsuits and the broad public outcry, the Trump administration has now reversed their policy!

The Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement have agreed to rescind a policy that would bar international students taking online-only courses from residing in the United States, federal judge Allison D. Burroughs announced at a hearing on Tuesday.
