WashU Bhangra originated as a group of friends dancing at the school’s esteemed Diwali show over 15 years ago and has now grown to become one of the most diverse and sought out dance teams on campus. WashU Bhangra (WUBB) is a competitive Indian dance team that performs at Diwali in the fall and competes at national and international competitions in the spring. In recent years, WashU Bhangra has competed in Miami, Nashville, Texas, New York, Madison, Ohio State, Indiana, and even Toronto! Bhangra is known for its hype music and energetic dance style! No dance experience necessary--for most people on our team, tryouts was their first exposure to Bhangra! We can't wait to see there!
