Students at Center Cross Academy aren't seeing much of their desks these days! They're too busy learning! Dr. Witte and Mr. Haynes are all about keeping students engaged and creating a memorable learning environment. Looks like they're doing a great job!

Center Cross Academy 6th graders had a middle school bootcamp of sorts to begin the year. Middle school is a critical time in a student's life and we want them to start well. They spent time with teachers, learned the expectations of middle school and also visited one of our favorite neighbors, the Missouri Botanical Garden. Just a short walk and they were exploring! At the garden you touch, you smell, you look closely and discover new and exciting details about God's creation!

Thank you, Missouri Botanical Garden, for being such a great neighbor and partner! We'll see you soon!

Volleyball season is about to begin!!! Sports are a great avenue of connecting, learning, growing and dealing with failures and victories!

Our middle school camping trip was filled with team building, conquering fears and learning to trust and encourage each other. Take a look at these students.
They're listening to instruction and learning something new.
They're learning to depend on each other.
They're encouraging one another to keep going, to persevere, achieve a goal. They're conquering fears
One student was scared. She wasn't interested and didn't want to try. But, with the help of her classmates' encouragement, she not only attempted the wall, she conquered the wall!

Students are building relationships and skills that carry over to the classroom and life.

Thank you to Discovery Ministries for leading our students down the river, through the wilderness, and up the wall with Jesus always leading the way.

Museums, aquariums and of course... deep dish Chicago pizza!
Center Cross high school students are having an incredible first 3 days of school. What an exciting way to start the new year!
Pray for our students as they travel back to St. Louis today. Pray for continued growth in relationships and developing leaders. These 9th and 10th graders will se the tone for our entire school. I think they're up for the challenge!

Center Cross Academy teachers and staff cannot wait to welcome students tomorrow!

Teachers and staff have been diligently preparing classrooms, curriculum, collaborations and celebrations. However, most importantly, they've spent much time in prayer.

Teachers have been preparing their hearts knowing each student has individual needs and life circumstances. They're prepared to love. They're prepared to give. They're prepared to adjust, to adapt, to listen and learn themselves. They're prepared to share Jesus each and every day.
