It's our first costume fitting day, and designer Andrea Robb is hard at work pairing clothing and characters.

Andrea is an alumna of Missouri Baptist University with a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Theatre, and of Fontbonne University where she graduated with her M.A. in Theatre. Melding her two educational backgrounds, Robb specializes in Performance Psychology and is currently pursuing her PhD in this subject at Grand Canyon University. Andrea is an instructor of theatre at MBU and regularly works behind the scenes as a costumer, director, and as a freelance artist in the Greater St. Louis Area. With extensive background in costume construction and design, she has earned high praise from local outlets like Ladue News, STL Today, and the Riverfront Times. Recent works include The Wizard of OZ (GCPA) and The Lightning Thief (MBU). As always, Andrea is thrilled to be a part of any theatre magic!

An accompanist will be provided. Please bring clearly marked sheet music. If you do not read music, it may be helpful for you to have a pianist look at it ahead of time to ensure you have the best audition possible! Callbacks will consist of readings from the script, singing from the score and a short dance audition. All sides and music will be available to auditionees pre-callback and all songs will be run through once with auditionees before the audition.

Casting Policy:
MBU Theatre is an educational theatre program. Because giving our students every opportunity to learn and grow is integral to our mission, every effort is made to select shows in which our students can shine. We always consider our students first, weighing their individual educational needs against the needs of the show and filling roles with them as much as possible. We also have a strong tradition of incorporating our wider community into productions when possible, which creates a multi-generational and diverse experience that makes the process and product more fulfilling for all.
