Mrs. Layton is the best! We are so happy to have her part of our school family.

Staff Spotlight: Lisa Layton has served as educator in the Mehlville School District for 19 years. She was a substitute for the first 12.5 years and is in her seventh year as a third-grade teacher at MOSAIC Elementary School.

Layton’s favorite parts about working at MOSAIC include working with her fellow teachers and support staff, the creativity of the students, and the support of the school’s families.

“I love the incredible partnership I have with my co-teacher, Jessie Ketzner, and our shared passion for meeting every student right where they are,” Layton said. “Working together allows us to support, challenge and connect with each child in the way they need most.” 💙
