"Hey everyone, my name is Centennial Day. I am thrilled to join the team as the new Sustainability Educator. In this role, I engage with K-12 students across the community to teach core sustainability topics, including recycling, waste management, composting, and many more. I also lead workshops and professional development sessions for adults, connect with other for mentorship, and help implement impactful new programs.
Driven by my deep passion for teaching and science, I especially enjoy collecting and analyzing data as part of my research. I am truly excited to be in this position—it is a perfect fit for me!
I am truly looking forward to using science education to make a lasting impact in the community. As an added bonus, I am beyond excited to spend more time exploring the garden; so much so that my husband and I are already planning a date to come explore together soon!
Outside of work, you can find me dancing, singing, traveling, connecting with friends, trying new things (food etc.), and doing anything else I am open too!"

PROPERLY DISPOSE OF YOUR YARD SIGNS!
The St. Louis Green Business Challenge, in partnership with OneSTL and Republic Services, are actively hosting special yard sign recycling drives this post-election season for BOTH August and November elections.
While both plastic corrugated yard signs and metal frames are made from recyclable materials, they can NOT be placed in single stream recycling bins. These items can impede or jam sorting equipment at area materials recovery facilities (MRFs).
