Bayless Junior High School

As we celebrate this Memorial Day, we remember those who have sacrificed their lives in service of our country.

We put a cap on the school year with 8th Grade Promotion this morning. Have a fantastic summer Junior Bronchos!

For the final Top Staff Thursday of the year, we are celebrating our entire Bayless staff! They clean buildings, take calls, drive buses, cook meals, and do many other things that support learning and keep our schools running smoothly.

As we reach the end of the school year, we thank them for the countless hours they poured into making this year a success.

BJH has received a Promising Practice Award from Character.org! The organization awards schools for practices that build strong character and reflect the 11 Character values.

We have a group of students who make and deliver hot drinks to staff members as part of a class. To support their efforts, Art Teacher Jen Cerame had her students paint custom coffee sleeves with encouraging messages for teachers and other staff. These sleeves add a personal touch and help students spread kindness throughout the building.

Today is Speech Pathologists Day! Amy Gammon impacts the lives of countless students through her work helping them with speech, communication, language skills and more. We thank her for the expertise and dedication she brings to Bayless. Additionally, she is retiring at the end of this year, and the hallway outside her room is decorated for the occasion.

Amy has been with Bayless since 1998, and we wish her the best in her well-earned retirement!

Our Bayless Junior High 8th graders had an amazing time celebrating the end of the school year at the 8th Grade Picnic!

Students enjoyed games, food, music, and time with friends as they made lasting memories together. It was a great way to recognize all of their hard work and accomplishments the past three years!

We said goodbye to the Bayless High School Class of 2026 today when they came by during the Senior Walk. We appreciated them during their time as Junior Bronchos and know they have great things ahead of them!

We had a great time celebrating our B-Cubed students.

Students who achieved 90% attendance, no D’s or F’s, and no behavioral referrals were rewarded with Kona Ice and outdoor time, courtesy of Bayless Educational Support Team - BEST.

We are proud to recognize the entire Bayless School District teaching staff for this month’s Teacher Proud Tuesday! The heart of great teaching is found in the small, everyday moments of care and attention to detail that our educators consistently provide. We are grateful for their dedication and wish them a successful finish to the school year.

What a great way to end MAP testing! It was a fun evening at our Luau-themed Spring Dance! Our students brought the island vibes with bright colors, tropical outfits, and lots of energy on the dance floor.
