If you’ve ever stepped into the Igloo Room, you know it’s more than just a classroom—it’s a place where everyone feels safe, loved, and ready to explore. It’s no wonder our kids adore her and our parents trust her so deeply.

Sami does so much more than teach. She pours her heart into our center every single day - whether it’s creating a welcoming space for children, building genuine connections with families, helping out a coworker, or jumping in wherever she’s needed.

Happy 4th anniversary, Sami! Thank you for everything you bring to DCC. We are so lucky to have you! 🎉

We are so grateful to have such a full anniversary season this month!

For six (plus!) years, Sheryl has been the engine behind so much of what keeps DCC running. As our Director of Operations, she somehow manages a million moving pieces—most of which happen quietly behind the scenes. If something just magically works around here… there’s a good chance Sheryl had something to do with it.

But her impact goes far beyond operations. She’s a trusted resource for staff, a reassuring presence for families, and someone who genuinely cares about every child who walks through our doors. Her wealth of knowledge is unmatched, and she’s always willing to share it with kindness (and probably a funny story, too).

Sheryl, thank you for the countless things you do that often go unnoticed, the joy you bring to our team, and the heart you pour into DCC every single day. We are so grateful for you. Happy Anniversary! ❤️

Happy three years to Jessica! 👏🏻

Over the last three years, she’s built sweet relationships with our babies and their families, always taking the time to get to know each child as the unique little person they are.

She starts each day making sure our littlest friends have a warm, welcoming space to learn, play, and grow. If you’ve ever walked into The Nest and thought, “Wow, that looks fun!,” you can probably thank Jessica.

Thank you for your dedication and for all the love you pour into The Nest (and for making mornings look much easier than they really are!). We’re so grateful you’re part of our DCC family. Happy 3rd anniversary! 🩵

Six (plus!) years of leading this little childcare center with so much heart, patience… and somehow taking care of approximately 3,742 things before lunch. 😄

Thank you for giving so much of your time, energy, and kindness to our children, families, and staff. You make the hard days easier, the good days even better, and this little nonprofit a place we’re proud to call home.

Today we celebrate Bethy’s 5th anniversary at DCC, and what a gift these last five years have been!

If you’ve ever met Bethy, you know why our toddlers adore her. She’s full of love and fun, and she has a special way of making every child feel safe, seen, and so very loved.

Behind the scenes Bethy is just as amazing. She shows up early, jumps in wherever she’s needed, and never hesitates to lend a hand. At our little nonprofit, people like Bethy make all the difference. She gives her whole heart to our children, our families, and our team every single day.

She’s not one to ask for recognition, but she definitely deserves all the love today! 💙 Bethy, thank you for your caring heart, your dedication, and for being such an important part of the DCC family. We appreciate you more than words can say.

Celebrating 3 years of Susan at DCC! 🎉

She’s been in the childcare field for quite a while and has spent the last three years here working with our preschoolers. Every teacher brings their own style to the classroom, and Susan’s certainly keeps things interesting with some unique and unconventional plans.

Thank you for the energy, dedication, and heart you bring to DCC. Three years down and so many more amazing moments ahead! 💛
