Celebrating 250 Years of Prince Hall Freemasonry!
On March 6, 1775, Prince Hall along with fourteen other free black men were initiated into freemasonry. We affectionately refer to them as the Immortal 15. Though they became masons in an Irish military lodge (Lodge #441), these 15 were the founders of Africa Lodge #1, ultimately becoming African Lodge #459.

Today Cable Tow Lodge No. 167 delivered a relief check of $250 for PM William Crowell, 86 years old, who has been sick in shut in for the entire year of 2024. The lodge also mailed a check for $250 to Gold Card Member Bro James Tellis, 92 years old, of Detroit Michigan who has also been sick and shut in.
