The time children spend outside feeds their developmental needs in a way no other experience can replicate. Nature gives children calm, beauty, and a sense of belonging in their environment. The plant life, the changing seasons, the feel of dirt, the observation of bugs, the wonder of puddles of rainwater - these sensory experiences literally organize the nervous system. In the quiet moments of meaningful work, a child is not just learning - she is shaping the foundation of her character, building the confidence and independence to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Our 6 grads all look happy, but teachers and other grown ups in their lives definitely feel a tinge of sadness when that last day comes. They become part of our school’s legacy and we are grateful for them. They will bring goodness to the world.

Spring is here, which means it’s just about time for our Spring Open House!

We invite past, present and prospective parents to join us to visit & learn what we’re all about! We are currently enrolling for both Intro class (2-3 year olds) and Primary class (3-5 year olds) for Fall 2023.
