Spoede School Turtles

On Friday, we celebrated our incredible seniors! From a parade and assembly to throwing it back to their Spoede days with the legendary rainbow parachute in the gym, the energy was unmatched!

Last night's Spoede Fine Arts Festival was WOW! 🤩

Our hallways were transformed into a gallery of creativity, the Chorus and Kindergarten performances were incredible, and the Glow Show took us on a neon underwater adventure! We loved seeing everyone at the rock painting, photo booth, fan mail, and Instrument Touch Tank stations, too!

A BIG shout out to Mrs. Nutt, Mrs. Roberts, and all of the volunteers for making the magic happen. We love our Spoede community! 💚

The SSA spoiled us this morning with Tom's Coffee Truck for the first day of Teacher Appreciation Week! Ms. Coleman had her coffee served up by one of our very own Turtles. What a great way to start the day! Thank you, Spoede School Association! 💚🐢☕️

Mrs. Annie brings so much joy to our Spoede community! Whether she’s greeting students at the door with a smile, supporting students and teachers in classrooms, or connecting with kids at lunch, she is a consistent, encouraging presence for our Turtles every single day. 🐢

Each day at Spoede is a little brighter and a lot more fun because she’s here! Congratulations, Mrs. Annie! We love you!

We are so lucky to have Mrs. Roberts as part of our Spoede community! Each day, she brings creativity, enthusiasm, and a deep passion for helping every student see themselves as an artist. Her classroom is a place where students feel inspired, welcomed, and excited to create.

From the art studio to the hallways filled with student work, Mrs. Roberts helps make our school a brighter, more vibrant place to learn and grow.

On Thursday, 4/16, Spoede students and staff lined the halls and front circle to give our Special Olympics athletes the ultimate send-off. Our incredible student athletes walked through a tunnel of green poms and a high-five line before boarding the bus to compete in track and field events at the high school. The energy was phenomenal!

We are so proud of our Turtles! They did a great job competing and had a fantastic day! 💚🐢

On Friday, 4/10, we celebrated our awesome principal, Mr. Bjerk, with a splash of creativity and a whole lot of portraits! Students across all grade levels showcased their art skills and worked together to create a gallery of the "The Many Faces of Mr. Bjerk!"

It was a fun surprise and a great opportunity to express our appreciation for Mr. Bjerk and all he does for our school! 💚🐢

Sending a big shout out to all of our amazing Science Fair participants! It takes a huge amount of curiosity to ask the big questions, hard work to find the answers, and perseverance to keep going when things get messy!

Way to go, Turtles! We are so proud of you! 💚 🐢

We’re still smiling after last week’s Passport Night! It was such an incredible evening of learning, celebration, and community.

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers and everyone who joined in the fun!

A huge shoutout to our amazing Spoede Chorus and Mrs. Nutt for an incredible performance of The Star-Spangled Banner at yesterday's St. Louis Cardinals baseball game! ⚾️🎶

It was a win all around! The Cardinals beat the Tampa Bay Rays 6-5, our Spoede Turtles rocked their moment down on the field, and Fredbird had fun taking selfies with Mrs. Nutt's phone!
