Affton C2C (Cougars to College)

Today, 37 Affton High School Seniors participated in the College Prep Camp. It was a full day of preparation in the many aspects of the college application process. Grateful for Blake Huster MaryvilleU Joe Legrendre Illinois College Jennifer Nowak Westminster College and our Class of 2024 Alumni, Marinna Castro-Lester and Sydney Paglusch for presenting and supporting our students as they narrow their college lists and start their applications. It was a great day!

Affton High School Class of 2027!! Only a few more days to register for the College Prep Camp on Thursday, August 6, 2026. The RsVP Google form has been emailed to you. Register by Tuesday, 8/4. This event is for SENIORS ONLY. There will be a parent night in September to help with any questions families have.

Affton High School Class of 2027!! Four weeks from today the College and Career Department will be hosting the College Prep Camp at Affton High School Library from 9 am to 2 pm for all seniors ready to start their college application process or get help continuing jt. There will be college reps on campus ready to present and advise. Save the date! Ms. Giunta will be sending out a Google form to sign up early next week!

Congratulations to Affton High School Alumna, Molly Carney (Class of 2022), on her graduation from Mizzou this past May!! Molly earned her Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management. She has accepted a position as an Executive Assistant & Event Coordinator with Upper Crust Food Service, where she supports the CEO through executive coordination, event planning and strategic initiatives. We are so proud of Molly and wish her the best in her career! Go Tigers!!

Congratulations to Affton High School Alumna, Elma Muratovic (Class of 2022) on her recent graduation from Mizzou Elma earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Management. She started her accelerated MBA program while completing her Bachelors so she will be staying at MIZZOU one more year to complete her Masters in Business Administration. We are so proud of her and can’t wait to see more of her achievements. Go Tigers!!

Congratulations to Affton High School Alumna, Abby Puzniak, on her graduation from The University of Mississippi this past May!! Abby earned her Masters in Integrated Marketing Communications. She will be moving to Bozeman, Montana this July to start her career as a Community Director at Montana State University. We are so excited for her and can’t wait to see all of her accomplishments at Montana State University

Congratulations to Affton High School Alumna, Brooklyn Harper (Class of 2020), on her graduation from UMSL this past May. Brooklyn graduated from their Nursing School and just this Saturday passed the NCLEX exam. She is official and will be working at a local hospital in the Emergency department. Completing nursing school was one of the most challenging, yet rewarding experiences of her life and we couldn’t be more proud of her! Go Tritons!

Congratulations to Alumna, Hanna Phuong (Class of 2022) on her graduation from this May!! Hanna earned her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design. This summer, she will intern at Noblis as a Multimedia Specialist Intern. We are so excited for Hanna as she starts her career. Go Gorloks!! 🐾
