Happy finals week!! Billiken Bounty will have reduced hours these next two weeks due to exams. Good luck and happy summer!

Hi everyone! We have a fridge full of different fruits, bread, lettuce, and some eggs that we would love to clear out before they go bad! Come to the pantry and grab some of the refrigerated items with no referral required!

The end of the school year is coming to an end! If you have some left over flex, please consider using it to donate to Billiken Bounty!

This week’s admin shoutout is Kathryn Dortch! Kat works in the Corporate and Foundation Relations department within the Development Division and is responsible for stewarding, cultivating, soliciting, and other engagement initiatives with corporate and foundation partners. She mostly writes grants and searches for new University partners. Kat sits on the Billiken Bounty Advisory Board, is the Chair of the Staff Advisory Council’s Volunteer Committee whose focus is Billiken Bounty, and has written many grants on behalf of Billiken Bounty. Her ultimate goal is to garner more internal and external donations for BB whether it be $$, in-kind donations, or time. One fun fact about Kathryn is she has a twin brother and “the only things we have in common are our shoe size and sense of humor!”

Raman Stir Fry! This recipe is super customizable, you can swap out the tofu for chicken or another protein, and use any veggies you’d like!

This week we are shouting out one of our amazing volunteers at the pantry! This is Rish*tha and she has been with Billiken Bounty for about one month now. She is majoring in Health Data Science and her favorite food is anything Italian! Thank you Rish*tha and all our other volunteers for all of your hard work in the pantry!!

There will be Girl Scout cookie booths outside of Pius Library this Sunday! Bring your money for cookies and donations for Billiken Bounty!

Many people ask why we have item limits on our shelves, and the answer is so we can serve as a resource to as many people as possible! Billiken Bounty is an emergency resource that should only be used if necessary to ensure those who truly need food and other goods can have access to them!
