Both Sides of the 50

5 years ago we started with a dream... A dream to reach kids who were at a crossroads and help them make better choices. While the journey has been full of false starts and rough patches, we have somehow managed to remain focused and we are one year from our first high school graduates. Thank you to all who have remained engaged and those who have continued to donate to our scholarship fund. A very special thank you to Genise Montecillo for her very generous heart over the past 5 years. We look forward to 2018 as we graduate our very first class from Both Sides Of The 50! We plan to be more interactive on social media this year as well so get ready!!

Our kids with Missouri Governor Jay Nixon... Learning the importance of community service and the power of a VOTE!! Meeting people they see on TV also lets them know that they can DO and BE ANYTHING, including Governor!!!

Facebook now requires page administrators to pay to promote their updates if we want our content to be seen by our fans. If we do not pay to promote our posts, only about 10% of the fans receive the updates on the Facebook home page feed. To keep RECEIVING ALL POSTS FROM US you have to hover the mouse on the "Like" button near where it says At Home Care St. Louis. In the drop-down menu select "ADD TO INTEREST LISTS". Then create an interest list (and make a name for your favorite sites). When you select that interest list you will see ALL of our posts and you won't miss anything important! We recommend that you follow the above instructions for ANY page you care about, so you can continue seeing all the posts from the pages you love.

Congratulations to our Co-Founder, Cornell Young, III on being selected for North County Incorporated's "30 Leaders in their 30's" Leadership Award for his work with Both Sides of the 50 as well as his mentorship of the young men he coaches within the Spanish Lake Titans Youth Organization. We are extremely proud of his accomplishments!

We are saddened to lose our car show co-chair, Laurie Anderson, who passed away suddenly... We have placed our show on hold until we find another co-chair. We would appreciate any help.. Rest in Peace Laurie....
