I teach music lessons for folks who are looking to develop their skills on a musical instrument, music composition, singing, or anything else music!

I can do in-person at the home studio, in-person at a studio in Webster, or the virtual option.

An update on what's been happening musically:

- Currently teaching music to general education students from age 3 to 14 at one school.
- Teach music to 15 elementary-age students with varying degrees of special needs at a different school.
- Seven private students per week, one student being in his early 70s (so I've got quite an age range going on here)
- Lead a REALLY good band (KnifeHand) doing my original songs and tasteful covers (like "Heroes" by Bowie)
- Offer mentoring sessions for young creators / creatives who need a little push in certain directions and/or help with business setup
- Direct a program for individuals of all abilities to create and explore music in a warm, inviting, and friendly studio atmosphere
- Direct a chorus of young people with special needs who sing their HEARTS out every Tuesday evening
- Produce a podcast where I host conversations surrounding music, art, creativity, education, parenting, and neurodivergence, as well as live musical performances
- Perform solo gigs of cover material as well as original
- A member of my church band, where I get to relax and play the bass
- Bassist for the St. Louis Metro Singers Spring 2025 concert

If you're interested in getting involved in anything that I've got going on, don't hesitate to reach out. I kinda just wanted to lay this out for myself ... it can be tough to wrap my head around.

Everyone have a fantastic Friday!

Man, music is fun. Today I got to work on developing a 30th-anniversary medley of songs from the Toy Story films, cover "Jolene" on a banjo, tap dance, teach solfege using assistive tech, play a jazz arrangement of "My Favorite Things" with Holly Connor, and close out the evening with a guitar / drums duo cover of "Eye of the Tiger."

a GREAT day of music was had by all.
