Today was Lobby Day in IPE 2100 where 26 teams of Saint Louis University students divided between 2 different classrooms presented active state legislation in Missouri and Illinois regarding healthcare and health professions!

This week, the Saint Louis University IPE program kicked off the first of four Interprofessional Team Seminars (IPTS), bringing together 147 students and 10 faculty members for an interactive interprofessional learning experience.

IPTS Module 1 addressed the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) “Roles and Responsibilities” Core Competency was facilitated by Kim Levenhagen alongside nine faculty members who brought their expertise, experience, and professional perspectives to the conversation.

We are incredibly fortunate to have faculty who give their time and talents to create these experiences for our students. Their commitment allows students to learn about, from, and with each other - the heart of interprofessional education- with experts in the room to guide, reinforce, and support their development.

A special thank you to Kim and our nine participating faculty members for your dedication to our students, the IPE program, and interprofessional education at Saint Louis University.
