So much fun in our EPIC senior advisory with the amazing Class of 2023 today! Advisory group photos, Donut Drive-In long John donuts, entire class photo on the main entrance steps with St Ignatius, and three rounds of COLLEGE TRIVIA! With some final decisions still pending (hey, they have until May 1 to decide), these amazing students are headed to AT LEAST 78 different colleges - AMDG! St. Louis University High School

First day of College Application Open Work Week was a great success! 38 seniors have put in some serious work on their Common App! Looking forward to seeing more over the next four weekdays - 9 am-2 pm on Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday! St. Louis University High School

Great Senior Parent Application meeting on Zoom tonight with our supportive and engaged Class of 2022 parents - we had over 100 of you in attendance! The recording of the presentation, along with the PowerPoint, will be accessible in the next couple of days on our SLUH College Counseling YouTube channel! St. Louis University High School

The Fifth Annual College Application Open Work Week at SLUH was a tremendous success! Five days of personalized assistance on college applications for our awesome seniors - they worked through our customized Canvas course, and are well on their way to submitting strong and reflective applications of which they should be very proud!

Richard T was a five-day attendee of the Work Week, and was the first of our seniors to complete the Canvas course!

Luke B was also a five-day attendee - not only did he work on his Common Application and complete MULTIPLE supplemental essays, but he also got in the spirit of the week, wearing a different college shirt from his application list 3 of the 5 days! They each earned a PB & J donut from Strange Donuts!

Takeaways from the Work Week - “Dude, it’s in the Canvas course!” (Timeless quote from one student to another who asked an innocent question… 😂) and “Your future self will thank you for being here in early August, guys!” (SLUH college counselors)
