The Zeta Tau Chapter is excited to announce the 3rd Annual Kai Cup! We’re grateful for the continued support that makes this event possible year after year, and we can’t wait to bring everyone together again.

This year’s tournament will be held Sunday, October 4th at Oak Valley Golf Course, with an 8am shotgun start (4-man scramble). Registration includes 18 holes of golf and cart, lunch, unlimited beer/water/soda, and prizes for the winner of each flight.

We’re also looking for sponsors and donations to help make this year’s Kai Cup the best one yet. If you’re an alum, we’d greatly appreciate you passing this along to others in the network.

Registration, event details, and donation info are all linked below. Feel free to reach out with any questions to Colin Brown, (630) 699-0579.

Thank you all for your continued support. We can’t wait to see you on October 4th!

On Sunday, 32 brothers competed in the 3rd annual Ryker Cup, a Ryder cup style team golf tournament, at Mystic Oak Golf Course. After a very competitive 18 between the golfers, Team Slink, led by captain Slink “Peter” Slinkard, emerged as champions over Team Jandrew.

Thank you for the brothers that helped to set this event up and thanks to Mystic Oak for having us!

This week’s senior spotlight is Cooper Bergstrom. Cooper is from Mattoon, IL and is graduating in May with a degree in Biology. During his time in Beta, Cooper has served the chapter in multiple roles, most notably as the VP of New Member Education in 2025, as well as the Men of Principle chair and Scholarship chair in previous years. After graduating, Cooper plans to apply to dental schools. He has been a great role model to the younger members of this chapter, and we have appreciated all he has given to Zeta Tau. Cooper will be missed, but we are excited to see what he accomplishes in the future!
