Did you know that UV rays can damage your skin in as little as 15 minutes—even on cloudy days? Protecting your skin isn’t just about avoiding sunburn—it’s about safeguarding your long-term health.

Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30+)
Wear sunglasses and a wide-brim hat
Seek shade during peak sunlight hours (10 AM–4 PM)
Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours (or after swimming/sweating)

Your skin is with you for life—take care of it today so it takes care of you tomorrow. Learn more about UV Safety and our WashU Division of Dermatology services > https://internalmedicine.wustl.edu/july-is-uv-awareness-month/
