Last week, we proudly recognized our Dragons for their hard work, academic achievements, and dedication to excellence at our Renaissance Awards Ceremony and National Honor Society (NHS) recognition!

A special thank you to Ryan Swingler for joining us as our guest speaker and sharing an inspiring message with our students.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our generous benefactors, whose continued support and investment in our young men help create opportunities for them to learn, grow, and succeed. Your belief in our Dragons makes a lasting impact on their futures!

We’re proud to welcome Construction Forum to St. Mary’s on Wednesday, October 21, for Building a Workforce Pipeline That Works! 🐉

The conversation will bring together Mike England, Jacob Hummel, Sondra Rotty, Jodi Wiemerslage and Jesse Dixon to discuss how education, workforce development, construction and organized labor can work together to create meaningful career pathways for young people.

This is especially important to us at St. Mary’s as we continue growing our partnership with the Building Trades and Missouri Works Initiative, giving our young men the opportunity to explore the skilled trades and complete pre-apprenticeship training while still in high school.

Service is at the heart of what it means to be a Dragon. 💚💪 Andrew Main ’29 was featured by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch while firefighters battled a large fire on North Grand Boulevard Friday evening. Andrew was photographed helping rake debris from the sidewalk and nearby field and shared his concern for what the loss of another building means for the neighborhood. We’re proud to see a Dragon stepping up and showing care for his community! 🐉

Our student-athletes had the opportunity to hear from Dr. Karen Boleska, Director of the Sport Management Program at University of Missouri-St. Louis, along with two seniors in the program!

They shared their experiences in Sport Management and gave our Dragons a firsthand look at the opportunities available to turn a passion for sports into a future career.

We’re proud to recognize several Dragons who continue to lead by example in the classroom, in competition, and throughout our St. Mary’s community! 🐉

Each month at Mass, we recognize four students who demonstrate our Characteristics of Marianist Education through the way they learn, lead, serve, and represent St. Mary’s.

Congratulations to (L-R) Freshman Kylan Jones, Sophomore Chance McNear, Junior CJ Hunter, and Senior Emmett Sumner on being named our September Marianist Dragons of the Month!

We also celebrated Freshman Avery Taylor, this year’s Culture of Excellence Award recipient! This award recognizes a St. Mary’s student-athlete who goes above and beyond in competition, in the classroom, and through the way they represent our community.

Avery was recognized by both faculty and peers for consistently living out the three pillars of our Culture of Excellence: Good Person. Good Student. Good Athlete.

Congratulations to all five Dragons on this well-deserved recognition! 💚🐉
