Shout out to the Kansas City Public Schools Class of 2026 who led the KC metro in FAFSA completion this year with an outstanding FAFSA completion rate of 65.6%! We are so proud of the students who took this important step to ensuring their future success!
The KCCAN Advising Team is honored to partner with our colleagues in the KCPS office of Postsecondary Access and Student Success to ensure every KCPS graduate is college and career ready.
Why It Matters:
Of 28 factors impacting economic mobility, postsecondary education, particularly a college degree, is the most impactful. High school seniors who complete the FAFSA are 84% more likely to immediately enroll in postsecondary education. The future is bright for KCPS graduates!
Thank You to KCCAN Director Elizabeth Mounteer and our KCCAN Advising Team!
