Final design challenge! Students created a device to filter water after a “chemical spill” in a pond.

After reading “Muncha! Muncha! Muncha!” Students are designing a flower garden that can keep bunnies out for Mr. McGreely!

Happy Global Day of Design! Students are going through the design thinking process to create a more modern school. Some changes students thought of include elective block classes, ways to incorporate more technology, and more flexible scheduling to support different learning styles.

Introducing “Geek Out Lunches”! A student idea that is absolutely brilliant! Students sign up for a lunch time slot where they can host a presentation on a subject they are passionate about. Today, a group is hosting a lunch on the Harry Potter books. A great way for students to practice speaking and listening skills in an authentic way!

Reviewing customary conversations with a digital escape room today! Will the students protect their farm animals from a coming storm with their knowledge of our customary measurement system? Only time will tell!

Students are learning about the Bill of Rights by filming skits showing different amendments in real life.

Our class is using “rally coach” to review area and perimeter today. Not only do students practice taught skills, they work on communicating their thinking when coaching their partner through problems.
