Big Congratulations to Mya and Hannah for being the 2027 winners of Name That Bug!
The competition was fierce this year with each round being won by a different team. But Mya and Hannah won the final round and took home the coveted Media Lab octopuses!
(I had to look it up and "octopuses" is actually correct. who knew?)

RECENT GRADUATES (Classes of 2022-2025) I NEED YOUR HELP!!!
The MLS Program at SLU is undergoing NAACLS re-accreditation. We have submitted the self-study and are now in the process of planning the site visit which will take place November 3-4, 2025. The site visitors will meet with various groups that are involved with the SLU MLS program to include current students, faculty, members of the SLU MLS Advisory Board, and recent graduates. That's where you come in 🙂
I am currently drafting the site visit schedule and would like to schedule the meeting with you on Tuesday November 4 from 10:30 - 11:00 via Zoom.
If you still have access to your SLU email, please check it and RSVP. If you do nothave access to your SLU email, please contact me at [email protected] to RSVP.

Happy Holiday from the MLS Seniors!

MLS seniors put their phlebotomy skills to the test yesterday. MLS students start by practicing venipuncture on dummy arms and then proceed to practice on each other. This prepares them for their clinical rotations in the spring where they are required to get 50 successful draws to pass the practicum.

It’s that time of year again! Our newest MLS students showing off their new phlebotomy skills!!!!
