We offer a BS and MS in Nutrition and Dietetics as well as a Dietetic Internship for aspiring RDs.

Nutrition and Dietetics is a field that examines how we eat and how we can maximize our health by making better dietary choices. This is a fascinating discipline that opens all kinds of doors to graduates in both the health care and food industries. The department offers a bachelor of science in nutrition and dietetics and a master of science in nutrition and dietetics with several concentrations

We are currently reminiscing about a fun collab from this past semester between the University Counseling Center & Nutrition department. In April, Cooking with Friends you Haven’t Met Yet established a space to both meet new friends and sharpen cooking skills. Chef Dan Brewer led a demonstration featuring the perfect vodka pasta dish. We love when you get to make friends and eat yummy food✨🍝🤗

As the year comes to a close, we want to say a thank you to our faculty and staff who have made so many memorable slu nutrition moments possible. What better way to celebrate the staff than with joining the “this is who” baby trend? If you haven’t met our staff, we hope this encourages you to try a new class or chat with our staff! They are a fun bunch….if you couldn’t tell from the pictures.

And just like that, our graduate dietetic interns have completed their final Pediatric Nutrition class of the semester. 👏👏👏 Registered dietitians play a pivotal role in treating pediatric medical conditions through food & nutrition and in shaping children’s nutrition knowledge & behaviors to support a healthy adulthood. This semester, these students added new tools to their toolbox to better support the health and wellbeing of children and their families (like food exploration through mindful eating practices!🍎). Watch out world, here come some brilliant pediatric RDs! 🤩🎉
