Hello to all of our new and old families! 🐻 We are beyond excited to see all of our students smiling faces this month.

This year Stix is hosting an open house event in place of our previous Meet the Teacher Night. You can see the important details in the flyer below. We hope you can join us on August 20th for this event! ❤️💙💛

Do not forget our amazing PTO is hosting a playdate August 15th from 10:00am-12:00pm. Come to Chouteau Park, meet friends, hug your old classmates, and connect with the other Stix families! ❤️💙💛

Did you know Stix is a uniform school? We are!

Any solid color polo top or any Stix wear. (Be on the look out after school starts for our Stix Bear Wear store). For bottoms, they can be black, khaki or navy pants, shorts, skirts, or jumpers (dress).

📚 Registration Reminder – We Can't Wait to Welcome You!

Registration for new and returning Pre-K and Kindergarten students begins next week and is by appointment only.

To help your appointment go as smoothly as possible, please take a few minutes to make sure your Focus account is active and all required documents have been uploaded before you arrive.

Please be sure you:• Bring your student's original birth certificate (bring it with you and upload it to Focus)• Upload current immunization records •Upload a lead test completed within the past **12 months** (required for Pre-K and Kindergarten) •An active Focus account with all required documents listed above uploaded before your appointment.

🚨 Important Reminder: We have noticed that some families uploaded a driver's license as proof of address. A driver's license is NOT an accepted proof of address. If you uploaded one, please replace it with an acceptable proof of residency (such as a Spire, Ameren, cable, or sewer bill showing the legal guardian's name) before your appointment.

Unfortunately, families who arrive without the required documentation will need to reschedule their appointment. And we do not want to add that stress to your plate or delay the registration process. We encourage you to review your documents ahead of time.

As another wonderful school year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to our amazing Stix families and community. 💙❤️💛🐻 This year was filled with learning, laughter, growth, and memories that will last a lifetime. None of it would have been possible without the incredible support from our families. Thank you for volunteering your time, donating to charities, participating in fundraisers, attending events, and continuously supporting our students and staff throughout the year. Your kindness and dedication help make Stix such a special place for children to learn and grow.

We would also like to recognize our May Staff Member of the Month, Ms. Mask!Ms. Mask is a past Educator of the Year recipient! Ms. Mask has shown unwavering commitment to Stix students year after year. She creates meaningful, fun, and unique learning experiences that her students will remember forever. Her passion, creativity, and love for teaching shine through in everything she does, and we are so lucky to have her as part of our Stix family. Congratulations as well to our May Students of the Month! These students have spent the entire school year being their best selves, showing kindness, responsibility, perseverance, and representing our school values each and every day. We are incredibly proud of the example they set for others.
We are so thankful for all of our Stix Bears and the families who support us so faithfully. Thank you for helping make this school year one to remember. We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and joyful summer!

FIELD DAY🥏🏅What a successful and fun field day! The students had a blast running, playing, and enjoying their final days together. Thank you to all families who came and supported a station 🙏 We would not be able to have these fun days without our amazing staff and families!

LAST PTO Meeting Tonight!!

Please come out if you can. We'll be recapping the year and looking forward with new ideas. We also have two leadership positions open for next year. (I know you all secretly want to join the Leadership team! 😉🤣)

Meet us at the Tower Grove Playground to celebrate the end of the school year by coming out to play after school! All are welcome, including future families.

The PTO will provide light snacks and drinks.

Feel free to bring your own snacks, blankets, chairs, and drinks.

We will also be doing a uniform swap too (optional)!
