We are so excited for more buttons in the Library & Design Labs! Congratulations Mrs. Hines and the library team on your Innovation Grant from the Lindbergh Schools Foundation!

Foundation Friday:
✨ Innovation Grant Spotlight! ✨
Congratulations to Sperreng Middle School Librarian Emily Hines, recipient of a Lindbergh Schools Foundation September Innovation Grant for new library button makers!
Button making is a favorite hands-on activity for Sperreng students across multiple grade levels and subjects:
8th Grade ELA: Students design custom buttons representing books during their Graphic Novel unit.
7th Grade ELA: Students create faction pins while exploring the dystopian novel The Testing.
6th Grade World Cultures: Students press custom buttons during their German class rotation.
Schoolwide Fun: Button makers are also widely used for school clubs, student rewards, and maker space creative stations!
After years of heavy use (and nursing a vintage 30-year-old family heirloom press back to life!), these brand-new button makers will allow students to independently bring their projects to life for years to come.
Thank you to the Lindbergh Schools Foundation and our generous community donors for supporting hands-on learning and creativity in our libraries! 💚💛

Please see the game day reminders from our LHS team. Thank you!

FLYERS GAME DAY REMINDER
As we continue through the fall season, we want to remind all Flyer families and fans of our Lindbergh High School Game Day Policies so everyone can enjoy a safe and positive experience at our events.

IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR ELEMENTARY & MIDDLE SCHOOL FAMILIES
All elementary and middle school students MUST be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian while attending Lindbergh athletic events. Students should not be dropped off at an event without an adult. We love having our Future Flyers in the stands supporting LHS, but they must remain under the supervision of their parent or guardian throughout the event.

A few additional reminders for events at Flyers Field:
🎒 No bags or backpacks are permitted inside Flyers Field.
🛡️ EntryShield security screening is required for all guests entering Flyers Field.
🥤 No outside food or beverages are permitted.
🚭 Lindbergh High School is an alcohol-, drug- and tobacco-free campus, including va**ng devices.
🐕 Animals are not permitted at athletic events, with the exception of qualifying service animals.

Thank you to our families and fans for helping us provide a safe, enjoyable game-day environment for our students and community that are unmatched in our area!

Come out, support our Flyers and help us make every game day a great one!
