These guys started playing drums in August in the DB Beginning Drum Class. They are working on their final project, which is to learn two songs. It's very rewarding to see them succeed!

The Bishop DuBourg Jazz Band will have a concert on Thursday May 6 outside the front doors of our building. Bring a lawn chair!
Senior Kalan Harwell will sing some Bob Marley, James Brown, Khalid, Imagine Dragons and an original song with the fantastic DB Jazz Band accompanying him. The band will also play some instrumental jams by Grant Green, Freddie Hubbard, the Meters, and Joe Zawinul.

It's heartbreaking that we can't have our spring concert tonight as originally scheduled. We were able to collaborate on a recording using the online based digital audio software "Soundtrap." Each student in jazz band and choir was able to record their part from home. It was a giant experiment, and you can listen to the results here.

Calling all DB Band Alumni! Join the DB Pep Band at the Homecoming Football Game, Friday October 4th. We will have rehearsals the week of the game, time TBD.
