Learning comes to life at OMS!
Our students have been immersed in hands-on learning experiences that encourage creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and deeper understanding across every subject.
In Creative Writing, students are designing plot diagrams to explore story structure and demonstrate their understanding of key elements.
In Science, students are building and testing marble runs—designing, experimenting, making adjustments, and learning from the results!
In Math, students are using whiteboards and mathematical strategies to work through problems, share their thinking, and learn from one another.
In Social Studies, students are creating detailed dioramas focused on Indigenous tribes and then presenting their learning to their classmates.
These experiences give students opportunities to create, collaborate, question, problem-solve, and communicate—turning learning into something they can see, touch, test, and share.
We are so proud of the curiosity, creativity, and engagement our OMS students are bringing to their learning every day. We are also grateful for our staff who design and facilitate these meaningful learning opportunities for our students.
