We love receiving your feedback on our Facebook wall as a means of keeping communication in Ritenour open and thriving. Please be respectful when joining the conversation, and note the following Ritenour Facebook comment guidelines.

2. Please do not use our page as a means of selling a product or service.
3. If you disagree with a post, we’d like to hear from you. However, please refrain from personal attacks or being disrespectful of others.
4. Laws that govern use of copyrights, trade secrets, etc. will be followed.
5. Use appropriate language. Profane or provocative language, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive or derogatory content, threats, obscene or sexually explicit language will be immediately removed.

Congratulations to Ritenour School District Director of Professional Learning Dr. Evelyn Gilliam, who has been selected to receive the Edward and Esther Haywood Caring Educator Award from the Charles E. Fleming Legacy Foundation!

The award recognizes educators who demonstrate exceptional care and commitment to students. Dr. Gilliam will be honored at the Foundation’s Dec. 6 celebration at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel in St. Louis.

As Ritenour’s Director of Professional Learning, Dr. Gilliam supports educators across the district by strengthening instruction, developing staff and helping create learning environments where every student can succeed.

Congratulations to Dr. Bruce Green, Ritenour’s assistant superintendent for Secondary Education, who recently received the National Service to Youth Award from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis.

The award recognizes Dr. Green’s longtime commitment to supporting and developing young people. He was honored during the organization’s annual Spotlight on Service event on Aug. 25.

Dr. Green has been involved with the St. Louis Internship Program for nearly three decades, first as a student in the SLIP Class of 1995 and later as a Training Facilitator. Through the years, he has helped high school students build personal, academic, college and career skills while also helping shape programming that prepares young people for future success.

Our phone system is currently down in all Ritenour buildings with intermittent service. Our IT department is working hard to identify and resolve the issue. Until then, if you need to contact your child’s school or specific district departments, please email the school’s office professional. We hope to have our phones up and running soon.
