The Remains' native garden is in its 4th season and is pretty self sustainable now. The yellow, lance-leaf coreopsis, coneflowers, butterfly w**d and common milkw**d have all reseeded themselves and spread throughout the garden space. The New England aster is starting to bloom and the wild bergamot (bee balm) is on the verge.
So far, there hasn't been any monarch butterfly/caterpillar sightings 🙁 but there is plenty of pollinator and beneficial insect activity. If you grow it, they will come!
