Why the rush? This $1.2 million grading system was created behind closed doors without standard public rulemaking or input from working teachers and parents.

State feedback sessions were even scheduled during the workday on Tuesday afternoons—when teachers are teaching and parents are working!

Decades of research prove it: A–F grading systems reflect neighborhood wealth, NOT teaching quality.

Slapping a single label on a complex learning community doesn't help kids, it misleads parents and penalizes local public schools. Families deserve clear, real information about student growth, not misleading labels.
