Adopt-A-Freshman meets every Wednesday after school in room 124, across the hall from the library. T
Adopt-A-Freshman is a mentoring program created by Darion Robinson and Derion Tabb at Gateway Institute of Technology. Adopt-A-Freshman pairs freshmen with juniors and seniors to help them adjust to the high school environment; by helping with homework, facilitating team building exercises, going on college tours, having group discussions about topics of their choice, among many other things.

There WILL be an Adopt-A-Freshman meeting tomorrow after school in Ms. Harris' room (221)! There will be snacks for everyone that attends the meeting. Gateway Institute of Technology
February is National Career and Technical Education Month! Make sure you thank all of your CTE (business, computers, nursing, pre-vet, engineering, etc.) teachers for their hard work.

Adopt-A-Freshman still has room for any freshmen or mentors that would like to join our organization. We are planning several exciting and educational field trips and college tours for this school year. Our meetings are held every WEDNESDAY after school in room 124, feel free to stop by!
