Gentlemen of Vision Rites of Passage Enterprises, Inc

On behalf of Gentlemen of Vision, we extend our sincere gratitude to The Jubilee Project for affording our youth the opportunity to participate in the Mr. & Ms. Junteenth ceremony and earn scholarships. Notably, our very own Peyton Valiant, "Miss Green and Gold," was crowned Ms. Junteenth, while Rayshon Montgomery, our Captain and Treasurer, was crowned Mr. Junteenth. Furthermore, Mykel Johnson, our upcoming senior and Captain, received a $1000 scholarship. This program not only celebrated our history and heritage but also engaged and recognized our youth. We offer special thanks to everyone involved in this initiative.

Friday was truly profound. We had the pleasure of meeting and listening to Mr. Geoffrey Canada at the Missouri Charter School Conference. We were also given the opportunity to perform. His message was straightforward: "Would you have saved the nine-year-old me who was full of anger?" He encouraged us to continue making a positive impact on our youth and to save as many as we can, which is precisely what we intend to do. Long Live the G.

We want to thank every volunteer, organization and business who was part of tonight’s Summer of the Arts event at Jackson Lincoln Pool. Gentlemen of Vision and Beats Arts Academy put on great shows and this event continues to inspire. More thank yous tomorrow!
