Due to a water outage, classes at Normandy High School are canceled for today. Buses will return students home, which may cause delays to the bus schedule for our other schools. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

As a reminder, all Normandy schools will be closed tomorrow for teacher professional development. Classes will resume on Monday, September 22.

AVID — Advancement Via Individual Determination — is a college-prep program that empowers students with skills in organization, critical thinking, self-advocacy, and time management. It’s all about preparing students for rigorous academics and building pathways to higher education.

Calling all Seniors! Make sure you plan to attend this Career Fair scheduled for Friday, April 25.

Due to winter weather conditions, all NSC schools District Offices will be closed on Wednesday, February 19. However, students will participate in Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) virtual learning through the Normandy Schools Collaborative.

Please check messages sent yesterday by your child’s school or teacher for class assignments and details regarding AMI Plan Day activities.

The decision to close was made in coordination with neighboring school districts.

Normandy staff, board members, and community partners celebrated the third Believe Project Literacy Lab opening at Washington Elementary! Led by St. Louis Black Authors of Children’s Literature, the lab boosts K-3 reading proficiency and features 90% diverse authors/characters.

This marks the third lab for Normandy Schools after launches at Barack Obama Elementary in 2022 and Bel-Nor this October! Julius B. Anthony was recognized during the school board meeting for his continued commitment to education and the Normandy Schools Collaborative.
