Marsha's Light The Night Fundraiser

Join me in bringing light to the darkness of cancer by donating towards my fundraising efforts in support of Blood Cancer United's Light The Night.

On February 24, 2014, I received the most unexpected news of my life: I was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML). It was shocking to hear after what had seemed like an ordinary hard day’s work. From that moment forward, my life became filled with oncologist appointments, countless blood draws, additional medical visits, and hospitalizations.

Yet, 12 years later, I am still here — still fighting, still surviving, and still hopeful — thanks to nightly chemotherapy treatments, medical advancements, and the support of organizations dedicated to helping blood cancer patients. I am especially grateful to Blood Cancer United, formerly The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, for helping provide access to life-saving treatments and support for individuals and families affected by blood cancers.

Because of continued research and innovation, I proudly support the science that enables FDA-approved treatments, including 80% of the 153 new blood cancer treatment approvals since 2017. These breakthroughs continue to offer hope, extend lives, and improve the quality of life for patients like me every single day.

Today, I ask for your support. Please consider making a donation to help shine a light on blood cancer patients and continue funding the research and treatments that save lives — including mine.

Every contribution makes a difference and brings all of us one step closer to a cure.
