What began as a process art project evolved into an engaging learning environment that encouraged communication, problem-solving, and imaginative thinking while giving children a strong sense of pride and ownership in their collective work. 🏰🎨

Enjoy part 1 of 2 of Castle Cornerstone! Throughout the month of April, our children worked together on a collaborative process art project that became Castle Cornerstone. Using cardboard boxes collected by our kitchen staff, classrooms explored a variety of creative techniques including finger painting, spray bottle painting, decoupage, crayons, wrapping boxes with found materials, and creating colorful cellophane windows. The month-long project encouraged creativity, teamwork, and hands-on exploration, all culminating in the creation of a one-of-a-kind castle built by our children. 🏰🎨

As a facilitator, Ms. Debbie leads with strength, consistency, and a deep historical knowledge of how Cornerstone functions. Her experience and leadership help create strong foundations for both children and staff alike.
