Sapp Student Shout Out!

Ruby completed the Summer Reading Challenge, saw Shrek at the Muny, caught a bunch of fish, was finally tall enough to go down the big slide at the pool, watched the World Cup, and helped grow watermelons!

Harper completed the Summer Reading Challenge, watched the World Cup, walked the field with her Flyers Soccer Club at the St. Louis City2 game, went to tennis camp, caught a bunch of fish, and learned how to play Happy Birthday on the violin!

Charlotte had a great summer of fun and firsts! She welcomed her new baby brother to the world and took her first plane ride. She also relaxed on the beach, played baseball with her friends, and explored all that St. Louis has to offer!

Ava challenged herself by trying a variety of summer camps this summer! She made new friends and learned new skills. A highlight was archery at the beginning of the summer.

Evan learned some magic tricks at summer camp and put on his first magic show! He even had his big sister come out of the audience to be his assistant.

Cole had a fantastic summer!
He enjoyed going camping at Johnson Shut-Ins and being super brave in some big storms! He became a master LEGO builder and created some incredible ships, and became a chef and made some delicious homemade pasta (his favorite!)

We're super proud of him for a great summer!

Spotlight on our newest Sappington team members: Ms. Scognamiglio (1st grade), Ms. Raftery (Kindergarten), and Mrs. Perkins (Reading Specialist)!🌟 They are gearing up for the year at the Lindbergh New Teacher Institute this week. We are so excited to have them join our staff for a fantastic year ahead! 💚💛

🖍️ Milo had an excellent summer getting ready for Kindergarten!

-He beat Mommy in Connect Four (which was not easy to do)
-Got a strike in bowling
-Became a rock and gem collector
-Became a Rockstar with a new guitar
-Played in lots of creeks
-Did lots of science experiments outside (usually exploding things)
-Rescued and collected countless bugs

And got an A+ in "Mom School." Way to go, Milo!

Aurora had three goals this summer, and she accomplished all of them!
1. Learn how to ride a two-wheeler bike.
2. Learn to swim independently.
3. Read a chapter book by herself.

Other highlights include:
-Starting on her goal to run 50 miles this year with Dad.
-Going on a few hikes exploring some national parks.
-Became a master Magi at Great Wolf Lodge.
-Spent a lot of time reading to her guinea pigs!

Ethan learned how to ride a bike this summer! He has also read 90 books, working toward his goal of 100 books for summer break.
