As if we haven’t had enough fun this week, “Water Day” on the Outdoor Learning Center!!

And the Blue Angels even did a flyover!!

Next stop KINDERGARTEN! Congratulations to our PreK children who graduated this week! From our infant toddler program through our preschool program, these children grew up so fast and we will miss them! Thank you to Miss Charline, Miss Michelle and Miss Kala who
made sure they were 100% prepared for kindergarten!

Our Outdoor Learning Center was filled with laughter, teamwork, and active play during our LCFC Field Day! Children enjoyed exciting activities including obstacle courses, balance challenges, a spirited game of tug-of-war and so much more!
From running with friends to testing their strength and coordination, every child had the opportunity to learn while having fun!

These activities do so much more than create smiles. For children ages of all ages, active outdoor play helps develop:

Gross motor skills through running, climbing, balancing, and pulling
Coordination and body awareness as children navigate obstacles
Strength and endurance through physical movement
Social skills such as teamwork, turn-taking, and encouragement
Problem-solving and confidence as they tackle new challenges
Self-regulation by learning to follow directions and persevere
At Lemay Child and Family Center, we believe that play is one of the most important ways young children learn and grow. What a wonderful day of movement, friendship, and discovery!

She is preparing for our Preschool Graduation this week, and thanks to Charline, they are 100% prepared for kindergarten!

Our teachers turn spring into a hands-on science lesson!

Hatching butterflies teaches preschoolers key skills across multiple learning areas:

Science: Witnessing metamorphosis and learning what living things need to survive
Math: Counting caterpillars and tracking days on a calendar.
Literacy: Learning new vocabulary like chrysalis and proboscis.
Social-Emotional: Practicing patience, empathy, and gentleness with living creatures.
