Big Hearts, Big Impact! πŸŽβœ¨πŸ’™

Another day, another shining example of leadership, empathy, and service in true Ladue fashion!

Huge congratulations to Girl Scout Troop 1713, a group of dedicated Ladue Middle School 6th graders who recently earned their Bronze Award, the highest honor a Junior Girl Scout can achieve!

These compassionate young leaders worked together to raise nearly $1,500, using the funds to purchase items directly from St. Louis Children's Hospital's Amazon wishlist to bring comfort, entertainment, and joy to young patients receiving care.

Shoutout to the incredible members of the Bronze Team:

Yesterday, district leaders from Ladue, Brentwood, and Clayton made meaningful connections with our brilliant young innovators at the Catalyst Program!

Through mock interviews, our students put their Real World Learning into practice, demonstrating their sharp communication, critical thinking, and professionalism that define the Catalyst initiative.

From managing real seed money for prototype development to consulting on live corporate projects and earning internships, Catalyst students aren't waiting for graduation to make an impact in global business. They are learning by doing, right now.

A huge thank you to our Board of Education, district administrators, and corporate partners for investing your time in the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Special thanks to our Catalyst Program Advisors, Jessica Kennedy and Justin Hildebrand, for the amazing work that you're doing with our students through this program!

Our new Real World Learning Coordinator, Hannah Behr, spent the morning connecting with regional business and community leaders to explore opportunities for Ladue students to learn more about careers in the first responder field.

Building meaningful connections with local partners is an important part of creating real-world learning experiences that help students discover their future pathways!

Standing Ovation for Ladue Theatre! πŸŽπŸ†βœ¨

Ladue Theatre is kicking off the school year in spectacular fashion! Three of our amazing Thespian officers, Elizabeth Fries, Zoe Wroth, and Eliza Yawitz, recently attended the Missouri Thespian Leadership Conference at the Lake of the Ozarks.

They gave a fantastic presentation highlighting everything Troupe 1109 accomplished last year, earning Ladue Theatre the prestigious designation of an Honor Troupe! This is the highest rating possible, recognizing LHWHS troupe's incredible output of shows, community events, and cross-curricular projects.

The excitement didn't stop there! Senior Elizabeth Fries also ran for State Thespian Officer and was selected as one of just five student leaders for the Missouri Thespian Society! She will spend the year advocating for the performing arts across the state and helping plan the 2028 state conference.

To top off an awesome weekend, the team even met up for ice cream with Ladue's new technical theatre director, Kevin Manes, who was at the conference teaching a film workshop! 🍦🎬

A huge shoutout to Troupe 1109 sponsor Justin Scheuer and all our talented theatre students for continuing to set the gold standard for artistic excellence. We are so proud of you! πŸ‘πŸ’™ Ladue Horton Watkins High School Ladue High School Parent Association Ladue Performing Arts PA LadueSuper

Compassion in Action: FGC's Kelsey Pogue Is Making a Difference! πŸŽπŸ’«

We are thrilled to celebrate Fifth Grade Center student Kelsey Pogue, who recently completed her Girl Scouts Bronze Award, the highest honor a Junior Girl Scout can achieve!

For her award project, Kelsey helped collect and donate unused toys and activities to entertain sick children during their hospital stays. Thanks to her hard work and leadership, her group assembled 52 thoughtful care packages to bring comfort and joy to young patients when they need it most.

Kelsey will be officially honored for this incredible achievement at a special ceremony in the spring of 2027. We are so proud of Kelsey for demonstrating compassion, leadership, and community service in true Ladue fashion! πŸ‘πŸ’™
